Starting October 1st, Dexcom is pleased to introduce the new Dexcom Savings Program with savings up to 20% off the out-of-pocket cost* for Dexcom G7 sensors at any pharmacy. This savings card can be applied towards your patient’s insurance copay, deductible, or non-insurance cash purchases, which can reduce or even eliminate out-of-pocket costs.*

How Patients Can Access Savings

Dexcom G7 is now part of the innoviCares® program, extending savings to over 2.5 million Canadians already enrolled. 

Your patients can get their personal, multi-use savings card in one of three ways: 

1. Visit DexcomSavings.ca to download a custom savings program card.
   • Pharmacy team members may download a savings program card on demand for immediate patient use.
      
2. Use their existing innoviCares card or sign up by visiting innoviCares.ca.
   • Patients with an existing innoviCares plan on file do not require the addition of the Dexcom Savings program ecard plan as only one can be applied to each adjudication.
      
3. Use the digital or printed Dexcom Savings Program info-sheet shared by your clinic.

If you have printed or digital copies of the Patient Benefit Program, please discard them before November 30th.

Four Things Pharmacists Need to Know to Activate Savings for Patients

1. Transition existing patients enrolled in the Dexcom G7 Patient Benefit Program
   • Download a new savings card from DexcomSavings.ca or use an existing innoviCares card on file.
   • Deactivate the Dexcom Patient Benefit Program plan from the patient profile.
   • The Patient Benefit Program plan may be identified as:
     • ClaimSecure (CS)
     • Group 37762
     • Client ID 00002001DD
     • Carrier RX
   • For existing users of the Dexcom Patient Benefit Program, the program end date will be December 31, 2025.
      
2. Enroll new or existing patients to the Dexcom Savings Program
   • Add or edit the notes or pop-up text in the Dexcom G6 and G7 drug file in the pharmacy software, if possible or permitted, with potential text such as: “Dexcom G6 or G7 20% copay from DexcomSavings.ca or innoviCares” “Apply DexcomSavings.ca card to patient as last payor”
   • Download and display the new Dexcom Savings Program sheet in a prominent area.
   • The new Dexcom Savings Program plan can be identified as:
     • oExpress Scripts (ESC) or STI /li>
     • Client ID “INNOV….” or “DXCOM….”
     • Carrier 32
   • The new Dexcom Savings Program by innoviCares started on: October 1, 2025
   • The ability to enroll users on the Dexcom Patient Benefit Program will end on November 30, 2025.

3. Dexcom CGM billing information for all provinces and territories in Canada.

4. The transition period from our existing Patient Benefit Program to the new Dexcom Savings Program is from October 1 to December 31, 2025.
   • Both programs—the Dexcom Savings Program and Dexcom Patient Benefit Program—will be available during this period.
   • The use of both programs on pharmacy claims is not permitted. Dexcom reserves the right to audit and recover any funds necessary.
   • We encourage the pharmacy team to review and implement the recommendations to ensure a smooth onboarding of your Dexcom patients to our new Savings Program.
