Patients should talk to their physician or pharmacist and ask to receive a prescription for the Dexcom G6 rtCGM System.

1. Physician gives the patient a prescription for Dexcom G6 that they will bring to their local pharmacy.
2. Pharmacists in Quebec are also allowed to prescribe glucose monitoring systems such as Dexcom G6.
3. Physician or pharmacist completes an Exceptional Medication Form and submits it to RAMQ for approval.
4. Once approved, the pharmacy may process the patient’s order for Dexcom rtCGM supplies.
