Pay-Direct Pharmacy

If an insurer provides pay-direct pharmacy coverage, and it’s available on an individual’s health plan, they can access their Dexcom rtCGM supplies through their local pharmacy. Individuals should present their drug card and a prescription for Dexcom G6 or Dexcom G7 to their pharmacist, and they will be able to directly bill their insurer for the eligible amount reimbursed by their plan. This type of coverage reduces upfront out-of-pocket costs. For some plans, members may require prior approval of coverage before pay-direct pharmacy reimbursement is active

Pay & Submit

This type of coverage means that eligible individuals will need to pay for their Dexcom rtCGM supplies upfront, and then submit their invoice or receipt to the insurer for reimbursement. Eligible individuals can purchase Dexcom G6 and Dexcom G7 CGM supplies at their local pharmacy
