- For patients with RAMQ, Dexcom rtCGM supplies must now be purchased at their local pharmacy. They will need a prescription from their physician or pharmacist to enable direct billing to RAMQ.
- For patients with private insurance, they should first check with their pharmacist or their private insurer to confirm if the insurer requires prior authorization and confirm the claim can be processed at point of sale.
- For patients with private insurance that need to pay the full amount at pharmacy and submit the claim manually, they may choose to purchase their supplies directly from Dexcom until their insurer allows for pay direct claims processing at pharmacy.
