Individuals will be eligible for benefits for up to one year. Benefits will end each year on June 30th, regardless of your approval date.

Eligible individuals will need to re-apply by July 1st each year to continue coverage and may do so any time between April 1st and June 30th. When reapplying, income tax for the previous year must have been filed with the Canada Revenue Agency.

Coverage will be continued as long as individuals continue to meet the eligibility criteria.
